In July I’m going to be teaching a bunch of 10-19 year olds a bunch of art techniques, styles and such in the Bransholme area of Hull every week. This will involve showing them ways to express themselves in their images and that sort of thing.

It’s going to be pretty intense ‘cos they have to get some of their life experiences down on paper, and try and spin it into something positive. I’m guessing anyone familiar with that side of Hull will have an idea what I’m talking about. As a big fan of biographical art and comics, I think I should be able to help them in a way they’ll find useful- Anyone familiar with my Burnt Purple Noise comic strips, before I took them down, knows I have a passion for that kinda thing.

As for teaching, it has been a while, but I’m eager. I’m just looking forward to helping people again. Recently, I’ve been so focused on my career that I haven’t had time or interest to care about a single thing, besides one of my recent friends who I’ve found myself wanting to do anything for over the past few months- hopefully this will sort me out. Sick of being mr feel nothing. Nothing phases or surprises me anymore. My health is going to be improving soon, so I really feel the need to start making a difference again
